Far too often lately, leather goods are disappointing once you see them in person. Thankfully, that is definitely not the case here.This padfolio is beautifully made and feels fantastic in hand. The leather is thick and gorgeous in only the way that full grain leather can be. If you are not used to handling it, the 'rugged' look is completely natural and desirable. Small imperfections add unique character to each piece and over time it will develop a kind of patina that makes it incredibly smooth and supple. The more it is handled and used, the better it will get. The construction also features saddle stitching, which should ensure a lifetime of durability.The layout of the padfolio is well thought out and could serve well for multiple uses. The most popular use, I'm sure, will be for general business activity, for which it seems well suited. I use mine primarily for writing, so I don't use most of the provided slots and pockets as intended, but rather typically have them stuffed with odds and ends... which is perfect for my needs. The multiple pen loops are a nice touch as I prefer to always keep a pen and a mechanical pencil on hand. Most important of all for me, however, is the stiff back that guarantees I have a proper writing surface wherever I am and the ability to hold my preferred Cambridge writing pads.I was happy with this padfolio the moment I received it, but I have only grown more fond of it as time has gone by. It's elegant, beautiful, feels amazing in hand, and is wonderfully functional. The outer finish is already starting to smooth and mellow a bit and I know it will only get better and better as time goes on. This is certainly a luxury piece and a bit of splurge, but it is one that you are sure to appreciate every time you wrap your hands around it. Highly Recommended!

I ordered a couple leather padfolios as gifts this spring and this Leather Portfolio was every bit the quality as another noted brand I ordered.Design-wise, this has a little bit more rugged of a look than a very refined desk padfolio, so it might be a nice gift for someone who doesn't always wear a suit to work.Made very, very well - it's made to last for years, and provides a nice, elegant writing surface for taking notes.Pockets to organize receipts, cards, and such are handy as well.Very happy with this - would make an excellent gift to anyone starting a new endeavor, one they could start with confidence carrying this distinguished bit of leather.

This looks and feels like such a high-quality luxury item. The portfolio has places for anything you need going into an interview or taking notes for a presentation. Its very slim profile prevents it from being too bulky to carry around in a bag or backpack. The paper pad holder also accommodates everything up to a legal pad, but I've only tried the 8.5 x 11.75, and it fits perfectly. Great product
